While driving into work today, I noticed and unusual amount on really crappy cars swerving along the freeway, plastered in global warming stickers, weed smoke puffing from the window. At first I just thought it was a coincidence, but then I notice the high quality anti-bush signs, made of plastic trash bags and duct tape. Then it hit me, today is the gathering of the people who haven’t found a purpose in life since the 60’s. (Which is probably the last time they have come out of their apartments, and turned on their cars). Pulling into down town was particularly interesting. On every corner I some person who looked like they just got out of bed and walked out the door, they haven’t seen a shower in a month, cup of coffee in one hand and a backpack on the in the other (no doubt full of their favorite socialist reading material) As I got near the park, it became particularly difficult to tell which were homeless and which were “peace activists”. The only ones you could tell apart were the poor misguided college kids and their professors, who misguide them. I have a new theory about how to fix global warming, get rid of all the hippies cars and have them stop the hot air coming out of their mouths. That should do the trick.
Why is it that these people who rely on the government for their existence are all anti-bush, and demos? These people have been living of the government since the 60’s and they come to bite the hand that feeds them. Do you have to be stoned out of your mind to live this way. Are the drugs the only thing that helps on see their views? If that is what it means to be a liberal, I will never be a liberal.
I will take responsibility for my own actions. I will provide for my family, not the government. I will form my own views, the politicians and media will not tell me what most Americans think. I will wake up in the morning to create value for society and others around me, not to consume hard work of others. I will be a good steward of my liberty and support that that cause all over the world.
