Often it is best to let a finite number of words replace extensive textual remarks. When a person speaks from comprehensive experience and erudite knowledge, listening becomes a necessary skill. This approach clears the mind and provides a basis for intellectual discovery and observation.

All too often, this daedal approach is lost in the confusion created by ignominious actions. This is especially true in our democratic republic during a campaign season, when representatives refuse to hear the majority of citizens. Thus is the situation we are in today as Democrats struggle to regain relevance amongst the populace. It appears that tactically, Democrat Party plans for November include more parochial disclosures of classified information, riling up the anti war base, planning for impeachment hearings, encouraging waves of trolls to attack blogs and other nefarious activities that confuse the populace and keep us from being safe. I posit this is not a plan, but the actions of a party so disconnected with our countries majority they can not formulate coherent policy.
This is not the case for appreciative and intelligent people such as the President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai. Watching somewhat in disbelief as the press pursued the New York Times latest classified exposure of select NIE data, Mr. Karzai made the following remark;
Terrorism was hurting us way before Iraq or September 11 ... These extremist forces were killing people in Afghanistan for years, closing schools, burning mosques, killing children, uprooting vineyards," Karzai said. "They came to America on September 11, but they were attacking you before September 11 in other parts of the world. We are a witness in Afghanistan.
"Do you forget people jumping off the 80th floor or 70th floor when the planes hit them? Can you imagine what it will be for a man or woman to jump from that high?" Karzai asked recalling some of the more shocking scenes from the World Trade Center bombing. "How do we get rid of them? ... Should we wait for them to come and kill us again?"
I will let his remarks stand for themselves. Perhaps the Democrats can learn something.
