I wonder what Sen Webbs voting record is on Gun Control.

Via Michelle Malkin:

Selective treatment and the license to carry

The Beltway's buzzing over the arrest of an aide to Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.) for carrying Webb's loaded gun in a bag through security at the Russell Senate Office building while the Senator was parking his car.

Looks clear to me that the aide will get a slap on the wrist, if anything at all.

Here's a reminder of what happens to concealed carry permit holders who make the same mistake--but don't have all the right connections.

Question: If Sen. Webb lived in Roanoake, would the local rag have treated him like a sex offender, too?

This is part of the reason why I don't carry. If I brought a weapon, even a pocket knife, to my employment, whether on my person or in my car, it could cost me my job and possibly more. I love the statement from Phillip Esteban: "It's bizarre beyond comprehension that you can be convicted of merely possessing something that's constitutionally protected."
It is easy to see that the playing field is not the same across the board. I guess it is okay to prosecute or not to prosecute for political statement. Who cares about consistency...

Sen. Webb, who facinates about sexually abusing children, is the type of person that make me carry a gun.  (Don't believe me? Look it up, we covered him on this site)
