Remember our Nation's Fallen Heroes On Memorial This Day!

Just wanted to take a minute to remember our fallen Hero's, and one in paticular, my Grandpa. He died several years ago, after a nearly 10 year battle with an alzheimer's type desease.

He was a verteran, although he never would speak of the war.  My grandma once said, he had seen some horrible things, which is why he woudn't talk about it. He was a champion boxer in the military and out.

He was raised in Victor, Idaho, and loved horses.  He had one horse he had trained like a dog. He owned horses till he died. He taught me how to sadle a horse, gut a fish, and irrigate a field. He was a great man.

I named my first son after him, i can't wait for them to meet one day.

My father was a WWII vet. God bless them all.

I like your father. My dad served in Vietnam when I was a young kid. The war changed him and he became very anti-authority and anti-establishment --even after serving an LDS mission in '64-65. War creates more victims than what we see on the battlefield.
My grandfather served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He retired from the Army in '74 after more than 30 years service.
