She lost her family, her job, her life savings, and for what? In a way I admire her for standing up for what she believes is right. It's sad to see what has happened to her though. I'd like to make jokes and what not but I just can't do it.
I hope that she's able to put her life back together and that she's learend that when you bite the hand that feeds, that hand slaps back.

Even though I don't agree with her, I have to give her some respect for two reasons.
One... she lost a son in war. During the Hannity-Rocky debate, Rocky made a comment to Hannity about Sheehan. Hannity said that he felt sorry for her because of loosing a son to war. I don't feel sorry for her, but I do have empathy and respect for anybody who has had to go through this.
Two... She stuck to her guns, even if it meant critisizing the Dems that were backing her. Too often people are willing to attack and critisize one side of the political spectrum while giving a free pass to the other.

i gave her some respect for the lost son part, but that is it.
When she starts calling US troops murders-baby killers, and calling the US a terrorist nation, calling the real terrorist 'freedom fighters" and and and and. She really lost my respect as a personal who has a cause, once her cause lost all rational.
Once she started recieving money from the Soros crowd, once she started kissing Hugo (Hitler) Chavez, basically, once she started bagging on America, and breaking the law, she lost my interest.
If you are going to have a cause, even if i disagree, it should still be a pro freedom, pro US stands. Even if you are unhappy with how things are going, you can't rip on the past.

also, when she repeatedly said that she paid the ultimate sacrifice....
I guess she doesn't understand that that means, she would have given her life for the cause.

Splitt just described many democrats that I know.
The bottom line is that our country will be better off not getting the negative publicity people like Sheehan gives us. I wonder if these people ever wonder why so many people in other countries HATE the US. If they do, they should look in the mirror and stop blaming people like Reagan and Bush.
