Happy anniversary.

And the Rockies went. I think they made a better showing last night and may win game 3. However, the Sox will take it.

Well it sure won't be the rockies in 4, me and Melchor were wrong there. I'm still trying to have some faith.  I told a guy i would wear my Boston hat if they won last night, so i'm sporting a Boston hat today.

"A LoneStarTimes.com investigation has conclusively established that a leading figure in the American neo-Nazi / White-Supremacist movement has provided financial support to Ron Paul’s 2008 Presidential campaign.

The individual in question is Don Black, the founder, owner and operator of Stormfront, a “white power” website that both professional journalists and watch-dog groups have identified as the premier English-language racist/hate-site on the Internet.

Previous LST posts have focused on banner “widgets” appearing on the front-page of Stormfront. It is important to emphasize that these are NOT “advertisements” placed on Stormfront BY the Paul campaign, but rather publicly-available graphics that Stormfront’s owner has chosen to place himself, with links directly to Paul’s donation page."

Not a surprise, sorry connor...

Hat tip Sweetness-light:

"Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Jalal Fayyazi on Thursday expressed regret over dissemination of fabricated and unreal news on Iran.
Speaking to Spanish news agency, EFE, on the sidelines of the second world congress of news agencies in the city of Estepona, he said many of the news disseminated by international mass media on Iran are fabricated and unreal."

Sounds like our news.  So is it safe to say that the news media has become the world wide enemy?

Via RedState:

"Here at RedState, we were 100% honest and straightforward about our new policy regarding Ron Paul spammers. It's our site, it's private property, and it's a user-driven community, which means that its functionality is largely dependent on our users playing well with others (which is a large part of why we have the Posting Rules linked at the top of the page, and why we reserve the right to ban folks who come here for the sole purpose of spamming or causing trouble)."

Didn't i say something like this about Utahpatriots.com once?  I love RedState.
I'm not posting this because of the Ron Paul comment, but because of the down-right perfect understanding of personal property rights and community.

ok, normaly i would never in a million years post a link to a video with Bill (impeached) Clinton, but i couldn't pass this up.  I think politicians should drop thier guard and talk to idiots this way more often.

I can honetly say I voted for Bill twice and this is one reason why. I don't have a problem with him being pres, but Hillary is nothing like him.

I voted for Bill twice because of the direction the Democratic party is taking today with social issues.

the story about ron paul doesn't surprise me. just looking at the guy gives me the creeps. i've never understood those who support him. we hear arguments all the time about constitution this and constitution that. usually i don't mind until we get wackos like paul that want to go back to pre-civil war america. even though the ron paul revolution highlights evolution in the word revolution, they really don't understand that from it's inception, our federal government is in constant evolution. this isn't by accident. the founders purposly made it this way because they understood that they couldn't create the perfect government, but by doing it the way they did, it could "become a more perfect union". hence, the great american experiment.

I would hate to see the America that Ron Paul or Hillary would create if they had the power. To me they both represent the evils of the extreme sides of the political spectrum. Paul reminds me of some creepy old guy they used to use in old scary movies.

I would like to see what those who have joined the site but have never commented or posted an article have to say. You know they have an oppinion about what we write. Who are these people and what do they think? Then there are those who have not commented for a long time such as Arrowhead, Rat Rep, LaLaisLandia and others. Melkor is too boring and I need some fresh air.

I'm busy, but I check in regularly to make sure nothing gets out of hand.

The ''B" on your Boston hats stands for "bandwagon"...

I've been on the Sox bandwagon for years. As a matter of fact I usually only watch baseball when the Sox are playing. In 2004 I was as excited as anybody that they broke the curse of the bambino.

My oldest lives in Denver and he's all for the Rockies. It was great to call him this week during the games and rub it in.

The "B" has many meanings. One is "beat the Rockies". Another is "best". My favorites are "Becket" and "papel"B"on.

the "b" means "bad", "bums", "bozos" and "bad play".

Somebody told me they didn't like Boston because they come from a "Blue State". Shouldn't you be their biggest fan?

I've been waiting to say this all week and when the time comes, I forget about it. What's up with JK Rowling and the Gay Dumbledore? She announced this in a press conference to spite the religious right by saying that if the religious right had a problem with her writng about wizards and witches, they will really hate the fact that Dumbledore was gay. Why is she trying to upset us? I don't have a problem with fantasy adventure that uses magic in it's theme. These are great books. Some are published by Shadow Mountain (Deseret Book subsidiary) such as Fablehaven and Covenant Communication's Of Mice And Magic. One of my favorite adult fantasy adventure series is The Sword Of Truth (11 books- the 11th being released next month called Confessor). What I have a problem with is that she takes a childs book and after it is published, uses it to defend or promote homosexuality.

I will continue to read the Harry Potter books and encourage others to do the same. If anybody asks me why Dumbledore never married, I will say that he loved his students too much to marry and leave Hogwarts to start his own family.
