To be honest, I cringe when I see how much is spent on ANY government program... no matter what it is or who proposes/endorses it.

Socialism, here we come!  It's amazing that Americans are so arrogant.  "Russia, South East Asia, Cuba... they've all tried Socialism and failed.  But we are the United States of America!  We'll get it right!"  They will point to modern Socialistic successes like Canada and The Netherlands, etc.  But one thing holds true: Socialism -  It doesn't work.  It has never worked.  It never will work.  Once you are dependent on the Government for everything, they will take everything away from you.

Just take a look at the Indians, they are dependent on the government and most of them just sit around because they are being provided their finicial life. I've only seen a few indians actually want to work but the rest just love their beers (which is paid for by our tax dollars).
