Liberals gone wild!

Grrrrrrrr.

If they did this to my 10 year old daughter, i would sue the living crap out of the school system, and the police department, i would start fliers, protest, and get paper work started to fire every person involed. I would make life a living hell for everyone involved.  This is absolutly absurd.

My 10 year old would be damaged for life if she had to go through something like this.  She would have no malintent, no idea she was holding a weapon (because it isn't a weapon). All that would have to happen is for a teacher to tell her to put it away and tell her that we can't have that kind of knive at school. No, these idiots damage a girls confidence, embarrasss her in front of everyone, waste thousands of tax dollars, and make fools of themselves.

and all of this at a place where they should know how to treat kids. Does anyone else still think the government should be trusted with what or how to teach our kids?

She took left over steak for lunch and a knife to cut it with, only used the knife to cut the steak did not threaten anyone. Where's the problem? The teacher's over reacted first, then the administration and then the police. So why didn't anyone ever call the parents, talk to the girl, or just use common sense before taking this girl to juvy? I would total agree and work to fire and sue everyone of the individuals and the school and police departments for the mishandling of the situation. For the damage they have now done to this little girl.

i agree with you guys, but where is the common sence of the parents. i think by now every parent in the US should know that any weapon (or things that could be construed as weapons) is banned from school. if i were to send my kid to school with leftover steak, i would have had it cut into cubes before putting it into the lunch box.

What makes you think these were liberals?   I think they were, because if they were conservatives, the child would have been whisked off to syria and imprisioned as a terroist.

I certainly have to agree that common sense is no longer common, as if it ever was. It has become a topsie turvey world when republicans espouse big government, pass totalitarian laws overturning 200 years of freedom, spend without limit.  It is a different world.
