Pakistan and the middle east.

The reason the middle east will never produce a super power is because they have a tendency to kill each other.  Thier own people.  Now Pakistan tries to throw themselves into civil war. And no, the US didn't have anything to do with it.

It goes beyond killing each other. Too many in the Mid-East would deny others of their voice. Until these people can stand in opposition, they will continue to live second class lives with fewer rights than others in more modern countries (countries that give voice to their people).

This may come across to some of you as a surprise, but Bhutto was a hero of mine. She had the courage to stand up and let her voice be heard despite the danger involved. I wonder if she knew that by doing so she would be a martyr. If the people in Pakistan gain more freedom to be heard, then her death will not be in vain.
