A Win for McCain would spell loss for the GOP

I was a little disappointed with the outcome of the Florida primary. And not because Mitt lost, cause i would have been OK if even Guilianni won.  What bothers me is that McCain is even winning anywhere.

McCain is the perfect representation of what is wrong in Washington.  They have there little secret combinations that make deals off the table.  They support legislation that we the people would never vote for, and you see McCains name of half these evil deals. McCain doesn't represent the American people, me doesn't even represent what the GOP should be. He represents what the GOP is becoming, which is bad.

Also, if he gets the nomination, Hillary is a walk on.

I couldn't agree more. This morning when I saw him on the news, the thought hit me that he is so out of touch with the people, economics and what is important to me that a shiver ran through my body. Despite his failings, I will still support him over Hillary or Obama.

Case and Point:

http://youdecide08.foxnews.com/2008/01/30/florida-republican-exit-poll/

McCain won florida because of the huge number of illegals there, look at the Poll numbers. Gee, why would a bunch of illegals what McCain as president?

Need i remind you, this is a guy who thinks he is tough on National Security.  Now can you be tough on security, but go ahead an let millions of undocumented people magically become citizens? People who have already broken the law at least once?

I find it interresting that 44% of those polled who voted for McCain said they consider themselves as "Independent". 49% said they were "liberal". Last I checked, you had to be registered with the GOP to vote for the GOP primary in Florida. Sounds like a bunch of dems registered as GOP to sway the outcome. Maybe this vote is less important than we are making out to be.

As much as it scares me that McCain may win, It is not over yet. Unfortunately Huckabee who is out of money and is not getting any real support should drop out of the race and then we can have people decide between Mitt Romney and McCain. Huckabee pulls votes away from Romney. I still think Mitt Romney is the best Person running but if it comes down to McCain and Clinton or Obama I will have to Vote for McCain as I think he will do Less to damage than either Clinton or Obama. Clinton is the worst thing that could happen to the country, then Obama and McCain.

I thought the same as Desechado.  I thought you had to be a registered Rep. to vote in Florida in the primary.

Also interesting, I was watching Foxnews and they interviewed one of the Democratic party strategists.  They asked her, out of the republicans, who would you vote for (if you had to choose a republican).  After joking about that for a while, she said McCain.

Melchor just made the same comment.

This tells me that McCain is far from the candidate for us conservatives, he is the leading choice among liberals.
