Second Amendment Under Fire

Once again.   Here we go.  They are going to continue to hammer on this until they can take away our right to defend ourselves.

WASHINGTON —  The nine justices of the highest court in the land will meet Tuesday to hear arguments on who the Founding Fathers intended when they called for the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms: a well regulated militia or all individuals.

Tuesday's arguments in front of the Supreme Court — the focal point for gun rights advocates and foes alike — will be the first significant Second Amendment case in front of the high court since 1939. Supporters and opponents are equally excited and concerned by the prospect of what the court’s ruling — expected by June — could mean for individuals seeking clearer laws on the right to bear arms.

They may have better equipment but how long will they maintain the body to be equipt? Think about all the military personel and police officers who would defend their right to own a gun and have it in their own homes.

btw... remember. This case is because a police officer in Washington DC wanted to own his own gun and have it in his own home.

If they do try to take away this right there will be war and those in favor of the right to bear arms will win. Most of those in the military and police would fight this and many of our own state elected officials would fight this as well. I also beleive that if the court were to say that a change is needed it would have to be done as a constitutional amendment that I don't think would ever get the needed votes.

yes, fortunatly the Military is created from real American people.  Dad's and Mom's that have the same desires as we do.  If the government went Nazi, i think they would have to bring in NATO or UN to try to take away our guns.  The Military would separate from the leadership.
